Ms. Ginny Herbert
Head of School
Ginny Herbert
has been the Head of School at Grace for the
last ten years. Ginny graduated Summa Cum
Laude from Southwest Texas State University
in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in
elementary education. She taught elementary
school in Hutto for five years before the
birth of her son, Addison, in May 1996.
After staying home with him for a year,
Ginny returned to teaching in Hutto. She got
her mathematics certification for the upper
grades and began teaching middle school and
high school math courses at Hutto High. In
April 1999 she had her second son, Kaden.
After staying home a year with him, Ginny
began at Grace. Ginny continues to teach
math out of her home by tutoring in the
evenings.
Ginny and her husband, Chris,
celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary in
June. They have three children: Addison,
age 13; Kaden, age
10; and Ainsley; age 2. Her family attends Grace Episcopal
Church, and they enjoy baseball, basketball,
football, camping,
and water activities. They live in
Georgetown with their cats, Penelope &
Sassafras. Ginny's hobbies include scrap
booking, reading, and shopping.

Ms. Evelyn Vance
Music Teacher & Administrative Assistant
Evelyn
Vance graduated from Lamar University in
Beaumont, Texas with a degree in
Computer Programming. She worked in the
data processing field for 15 years
before she and her husband Donny moved
to Denver, Colorado. They lived in the
Denver area for 5 years where their
daughter Mackenzie was born in 1994. They moved to Georgetown in 1997 and
enrolled Mackenzie at Grace Episcopal
Preschool. In 1998 Evelyn was hired as
the music teacher for GEP when her
daughter was in the 4 year old class. Her dedication and experience has led to
more and more job responsibilities for
the preschool. She now serves as the
Administrative Assistant and bookkeeper
as well as teaching music. Evelyn’s
love for singing began with her own
preschool years and has continued
throughout her life. She has sung with
many church and civic choirs, including
the Beaumont Civic Opera.
Donny and Evelyn have been married for
22 years. They have one daughter,
Mackenzie, age 14, and 2 cats, Rusty and Zoey. Evelyn’s hobbies are singing,
baking and gardening. |

Ms. Margaret Cromwell
Two-Day Twos
Margaret
Cromwell is just starting at Grace
Episcopal Preschool this year and
will be teaching the two day two
year olds class. Margaret and her
husband Jerry have been married for
37 years and have one daughter, Amy
Heil, and two beautiful
granddaughters Madison and
Allyson. After being born and
raised in El Paso we decided to move
to Georgetown to be closer to
family and to also enjoy the
beautiful central Texas
countryside. Margaret graduated
from the University of Texas at El
Paso and taught 3rd grade for many
years and kindergarten. Margaret
loves being with her family and
doing things together. She enjoys
reading, crocheting, shopping, and
going to family gatherings and
being with friends. Margaret and
Jerry have two little puppies
called Sugar and Spice and love
watching their granddaughters run
and play with them in the backyard. |

Ms. Stephanie
Link
Three-Day Twos
Stephanie Link has lived in
Georgetown for nine years.
She started teaching at Grace eight
years ago. She took 4 years off to
have her two sons, Connor (8) and
Colin (5). She has been married to
Sean for almost 13 years. She enjoys
playing tennis and crafting and
anything that involves her two
beautiful boys.

Ms. Debra Mason
Three-Day Threes
Debra has been a Grace
parent and substitute
for the past 2 years.
This is her 1st
year teaching. She loves
seeing the kids blossom
and have a great
experience at school.
Debra has lived in
Georgetown for the past
11 years. She has 2
beautiful boys, Garrett
9 and Travis 5. Along
with her boys her 14
year old nephew moved in
with her in January. She
was born and raised in
New York but now loves
living in Texas. She
enjoys spending time
with her family and
great friends that she
has made at Grace. She
spends her free time
volunteering at Cooper
Elementary where her
boys go and enjoys being
a Mom.

Ms. Linda Schultz
Two-Day Threes
Linda
and husband Richard have lived in
Walburg for 8 and 1/2 years. They
live on a farm with 3 horses, 3
dogs, 1 cat and about 21 registered
Boer goats. Linda and Richard have
been married 47 years and have 4
grown children---Richard III
(45)--Lisa (42)--Randal
(39)--Russel (34). Linda's favorite
hobbies are her 3 grand daughters
--Alyssa (15)--Lexis--(15)--and Ryan
(14). She also enjoys reading
(mysteries), sewing and working with
her animals. Linda taught preschool
in Katy, TX for 6 years and this is
her 9th year at Grace!

Ms. Alyson
Three-Day Threes
Alyson
first became a Grace Preschool
parent in 2006 when her first
daughter, Caroline, was 2 years
old. Caroline is now in
Kindergarten, and Alyson’s second
daughter, Michaela, is in the
3-year-old class! Alyson and her
husband, Josh, were married in 2001
and have lived in Georgetown since
2004. Both graduated from Round
Rock High School. Alyson has
completed one year of undergraduate
work at Baylor University as well as
two years of undergraduate work at
The University of Texas at Austin.
She is thrilled about teaching the
3-day three-year-old class and being
a part of the teaching team at Grace
Preschool. Alyson loves being a
stay-at-home-mom and is happy that
teaching preschool fits perfectly
into her family’s schedule so that
she can still be there for her
husband and children. The Desha
family is a member of Grace Bible
Church in Georgetown. |

Ms. Micki
Llewellyn
Four Year Olds
Micki
Llewellyn lives with her husband
and children in Round Rock.
Her
oldest child is Ian who is 13
and the youngest is Claire who
is 10. This is her 5th year
teaching at Grace. She really
enjoys working with children.
She and her husband teach Sunday
School classes for elementary
children and Micki also leads a
brownie troop.
Micki grew up in
East Tennessee and graduated
from the University of Tennessee
with a major in history. In
2001, she began working at a
preschool in Round Rock. In the
second year she began teaching in
the four year old class. She loves
working with children the year
before they begin kindergarten.

Ms. Kara
Temprovich
Four Year Olds
Kara Temprovich
has been a Grace Mom and substitute for 5
years. Her passion is to teach and work
with children. She loves to watch them
explore and learn. She is very excited for
the opportunity to be part of the Grace
Team.
Kara has lived
in Georgetown for 8 years with her husband,
Eric, and children, Ethan and Jacob. Ethan
has gone through the Grace program and has
entered 1st grade this year. Jacob is
currently a student at Grace. Kara grew up
in Vermont and is very glad to call Texas
home now. Kara enjoys cooking, camping, and
reading, however her favorite past time is
her family.

Ms. Heather
Castro
Four Year Olds
Heather Castro is the mother of
two great kids; Jordan [12] and
Alyssa [6] . She is married to
her high school sweetheart,
Armando. Her family adopted a
new dog this August named Smoky.
Ms.
Heather graduated from SWT in
1996 with a Bachelor of Science
in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Her main focus during her
teacher training was Reading and
Fine Arts. Heather has been a
long-term substitute teacher in
Granger, Texas as well as a
substitute teacher in
Georgetown. She is an active
member of both her children's
PTA's as well as serving in
various ministries at her
church. Heather has been with
GEP for a year and a half and
has loved every minute of it!

Ms. Barbara
Kendrick
Teacher's Aide
Barbara Kendrick has been employed at Grace
Preschool for 9 years now, and she
loves it here. She was a
teacher for two years, and now she
is the three day teacher’s aide.
Barbara has two children of her own
at home. The oldest is Mandy
and she is 22 years old, and
the youngest is Jon and he is 16
years old. She and her husband, Allan,
have been married now for 23 years.
She was born in Georgetown and has
lived here for 22 years.
Barbara loves to read, sew,
cook and work on the computer.
She
plans to be with Grace Preschool for
a long time.

Ms. Marty Caskey
Teacher's Aide
Marty Caskey has had three years of
college. She has been married for 15
years to her wonderful husband Lane
and they have three beautiful boys.
Kyle is 12, Cory is 9, and David is
7. The Caskey family has a dachshund puppy named Handsome.
Marty is a member of Grace
Episcopal and is very active in the
church. She teaches the high school
Sunday school class and is
coordinator of the E.Y.C. (church youth
group). She loves to scrapbook,
cook, exercise, and read. |
